We recently had the opportunity to assist a customer in maximising the space potential of a unit they had acquired next to their existing premises. It was a great project, and we are so glad we could contribute to helping them grow their warehouse space.
The project was a follow-up to a racking requirement that we had helped the customer with over 10 years ago. The Project
The project required us to dismantle the existing bay of Link 51 pallet racking with three levels from the existing unit, carry it to the new unit next door, and re-erect it in the new location. This included the supply and fitting of two new beams to create a fourth level to the rack. To further enhance the storage capacity, we also supplied and installed new Link 51 pallet racking with four levels, with a UDL of 4000kg per level. Each bay was 3575mm wide x 1100mm deep x 6150mm high and included two runs of three bays.
