Delivering Two New UK Office Spaces for KnowBe4

Over recent months, the team at Officeworx has had the pleasure of working alongside KnowBe4 to design, source, and deliver furniture solutions for two brand-new UK office locations in Sheffield and Cheltenham. From the outset, the project was centred around creating two functional, modern workplaces that would support employee wellbeing, collaboration, and long-term business growth, while ensuring each office reflected KnowBe4’s individual design and operational requirements.

A Collaborative Design Approach

At the onset, we welcomed key stakeholders from the KnowBe4 team to our Cheltenham office to discuss the vision for both spaces in detail. These early conversations allowed us to gain a full understanding of the project requirements, covering everything from overall aesthetic direction and workspace functionality to budget considerations and specific product requirements.

Working closely with the team throughout the process enabled us to create tailored workplace solutions that aligned with both practical day-to-day use and the wider company brand identity. As each office varied significantly in size, layout, and natural lighting conditions, every design decision was carefully considered to ensure both spaces achieved the right balance of functionality, comfort, and visual appeal.

Sheffield Office: A Modern and Minimal Workspace

For the Sheffield location, the design concept focused on delivering a sleek, contemporary workspace with a clean and professional aesthetic. White sit-stand desks with black frame were chosen to create a modern, minimalist look while helping maximise the natural light available throughout the space. To support employee comfort and productivity, each workstation was fitted with Ronda ergonomic seating, integrated monitor arms, and soft grey desk screens, creating a workspace that balances comfort, privacy, and collaboration.

The result is a bright, highly functional office environment that reflects a modern corporate identity while prioritising employee wellbeing and efficient use of space.

Cheltenham Office: A Sophisticated Executive Environment

In contrast, the Cheltenham office offered a much larger footprint and different lighting conditions, allowing for a warmer, more corporate-inspired design approach. To complement the space, darker finish selections were introduced throughout the design, creating a sophisticated and contemporary environment while maintaining consistency with KnowBe4’s modern brand identity.

Designed to accommodate 42 workstations, the open-plan workspace featured pods of sit-stand desks in rich walnut wood-effect finishes, paired with black framework and soft grey desk-mounted screens. This layout allowed for a balance between collaborative working and individual focus space for employees.

For seating, an alternative ergonomic Alien task chair was selected and upholstered in bespoke fabric chosen to reflect the company’s corporate branding, adding a subtle personalised touch while maintaining everyday comfort and functionality.

Creating Spaces Beyond the Desk

Alongside the main working area, the Cheltenham office also incorporated several meeting rooms designed to support both formal meetings and smaller team collaborations. Matching wood finishes were carried throughout meeting tables, executive seating, and storage furniture to create a consistent design language across the entire workspace.

To further enhance employee experience, the office also included a dedicated breakout area providing staff with an informal space away from their desks, to connect with colleagues, and encourage a more flexible and balanced working environment. By carefully considering the scale, layout, and lighting of the space, the final design successfully delivered a professional workplace environment built to support collaboration, productivity, and future growth.


Seamless Delivery and Installation

To successfully bring both projects to life, we partnered with Revilo Trade, whose expertise in manufacturing bespoke furniture solutions played a key role in meeting the specific bespoke design and functional requirements across both locations. Their flexibility in supplying custom products ensured every element aligned with the overall project vision, while their in-house installation team provided complete confidence that delivery and installation would be carried out to the highest standard.

Having trusted partners involved throughout allowed the entire process to run seamlessly, ensuring both office spaces were completed efficiently, accurately, achieving a high-quality finish.
